Valmont Bike Park Named One Of the Best In The Country For Kids
This Tot Track was made possible by a generous donation honoring the community's legacy with regard to the Red Zinger Classic/Coors International Bicycle Classic. Launched in 1975 with the finish line in North Boulder Park, these races epitomized the community's important role in establishing pro-cycling competitions nationally and worldwide. Honoring the race, racers and Boulder, the donors underwriting this amenity hope to inspire and support the next generation of cyclists.
The bike trail open space project encompasses all of the elements that create a great community place – accessibility, activity, comfort, image, and sociability. The planned elements are designed to keep users engaged in a wide range of both passive and active recreational activities. The proposed bike trail will provide opportunities for Clover Creek residents and visitors to meet friends and allow them to feel comfortable interacting with other residents in a safe and pleasant setting.
