The City of Boulder Flatiron Golf Course Club / Event building was deemed a health and safety issue and beyond its usefulness. Michael Lamb, City of Boulder Project and Construction Manager, worked with a demolition contractor and his construction crew for demolition of the building and site restoration. The project included hazardous environmental remediation. Michael contacted the City Police, SWAT, and the Fire Departments to allow training in the building prior to the demolition. Following the demolition, Michael designed the new area, buildings, and coordinated an interim restroom. His crew restored the site, remodeled the “Grill” building, installed an Interim restroom, and upgraded the Pro Shop.

Michael Lamb was the Project Manager and Construction Manager for the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation. Michael convinced the city to demolish the existing Flatiron Golf Course Grill interior due to health and safety issues. Basically, the grill was old, dirty and contained mold in the walls.. Michael and his construction leader designed the new Grill. He and his City Park Construction Crew constructed the new Grill.
