Valmont Historic Platt farm house

The historic Platt farm and buildings were located in the property where Valmont Bike Park is now.  The house was determined unsuitable due to severe structural issues.  During the construction of the bike park, the house was relocated 600’ west of the original location in the same orientation and distance from the water canal.

Michael Lamb, Project and Construction Manager for the project, oversaw the restoration of the farm house and construction of new “out buildings” in the new bike park event plaza area.  Michael designed the layout and furnishings of the interior offices, kitchen, restroom and meeting room.
